BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Envisage Technologies, a leading provider of public safety training management systems, today announced a collaboration with the Jones & Bartlett Learning Public Safety Group (Public Safety Group) a leading provider of instructional, assessment, and learning-performance management solutions. Through this partnership, Envisage’s public safety-focused Acadis Readiness Suite training management system will be available with extensive fire, rescue, and EMS course and testing content from the Public Safety Group.
The result will be a comprehensive and customizable training package that will be unique in the public safety industry, pairing the broadest selection of courses with the most up-to-date content and the industry’s most proven training management system. Public Safety Group courses and assessments will come prepopulated into the Acadis training management system, so they are ready to be used, saving time in setup and configuration.
Alongside its many distinguished publishing partners, the Public Safety Group is the world’s leading provider of training and educational resources for the fire, rescue, and emergency medical services. Once embedded in Acadis, a full suite of market-leading initial and continuing education course content from the Public Safety Group will be easily accessible to Acadis customers, in addition to other testing and learning materials available on the system.
“We are aiming to make it easy for customers to provide the best available training to their staff through a system that provides the additional benefits of streamlining training management to achieve each organization’s personnel and resource goals,” Envisage Executive Vice President Heather DeMoss said.
Acadis has the most extensive install base of public safety customers of any training management system in the United States. It serves more than 1.9 million public safety personnel, 9,800 departments, and 30 statewide law, fire, EMS, corrections, and other government deployments.
Acadis will complement the Public Safety Group content and testing resources with a comprehensive hire-to-retire training management system to administer the full range of high-volume, diverse training and compliance operations. It replaces multiple systems with one proven enterprise system, saving time and money, and accelerates tasks through automation of processes and elimination of paper-based records.
In addition to training, Acadis offers interrelated modules for classroom and secure online testing, registration, compliance tracking, performance and field training evaluations, inventory, housing, budgeting and forecasting, and other business processes.
In using Acadis with Public Safety Group and other courses, customers will be able to assign roles and permissions to users, which will allow controlled access to a testing bank and other features. Acadis also provides anti-cheating and test proctoring features.
